Enhancing Inclusive Assessment Practices for Students with IEPs: Supporting English Language Proficiency and Equity in Education
The aim of this project is to develop a practicable set of instruments for the formative assessment of the English skills of pupils with special support needs at primary level. The basis for the development of our planned instruments are existing empirically validated language instruments as well as the relevant professional literature. The instruments to be developed are therefore a compact adaptation of existing procedures and are intended to support teachers and specialists in formatively assessing their pupils with special support needs in foreign language learning and providing them with customised support. Our toolkit follows the diagnostic approach Observe, Assess, Support OAS, its content is harmonised with the Albanian curriculum and the English teaching materials, and it is evaluated in terms of handling before it is made available to a wide audience free of charge.
